Description:
This is a .NET2 plugin to allow serial port control of a Denon Audio/Video Receiver's from HomeSeer 2.
Simple commands can be sent via Events or scripts to Power-On/Off unit, Change Audio/Video Inputs, Change Tuner Channels, Volume Up/Down,
and select Digital modes.
Using Web front-ends such as Tom Cadwell's "DVD Collection Scripts", allows very nice DVD selection, if used in conjunction with a DVD changer such as Sony's CX777ES, and our CX777ES plugin, or Mitsubishi's Televisions and our MitsubishiTV plugin would allow DVD-TV-AV Receiver control for easy automation of Home Theater room setups.
Configuration web page is accessed through HomeSeer's Setup-Interface link using standard HomeSeer API rather than ASPX and additional files.
Note: The communications protocol used in this plug-in, should work with Denon AV Receiver's introduced in 2006 and later.
