Harmony Home Maestro Web View Software Plug-in

Maestro WebView allows Home Maestro users to display websites and device URL's inside of the Maestro framework.

Now users can have menu buttons to launch a Google search, check movie times, view their HS Phone log, and more... all without breaking out of the Maestro experience.

Group your Maestro WebView screens together using Bookmarks. Each member of your family can have their own WebView selections.

- Create a WebView screen called "My Web" and use it to access a list of your bookmarked sites
  - Create a separate menu button with different bookmarks for each member of the family
  - Choose to start a WebView screen with a specific URL OR load straight to your bookmarks
  - Build your own custom html pages for special controls and embed them inside Maestro
  - Access hardware devices with built-in webservers (IP thermostats) without launching a new window
  - Launch an on-screen keyboard to enter search terms or passwords

Installation:

Download Maestro WebView from the HomeSeer Updater
Restart HomeSeer
In HomeSeer Select Setup
Select Interfaces
Press Enable Next to Maestro WebView
Press Save

In order to allow the Onscreen keyboard to interact with WebPages you will need to make the following browser change:
In IE7 under:
Tools / Internet Options/ Security

Select the zone that contains your Maestro URL
This will be the same zone you used when originally configuring your browser for Maestro Core. Initial browser configuration can be found here:

Select Custom Level
Under ActiveX controls find the following entry and select ENABLE
Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting

Select OK
Restart your browser

Requirements on Server

· HomeSeer 2.2.0.66 (or later)

· Maestro Core 2.5.0.12

· Flash 7 or later

· Internet Explorer 6 or later

Requirements on Clients

· Flash 7 or later
