My wife was complaining that our HomeSeer system was always reporting the wrong outside temperature. I've been using an RSS feed with data that originates from the airport, about 10 miles away from the house. This past weekend, I installed one of these receivers and paired it with an Oregon Scientic temp/humidity sensor attached to the back side (shaded) portion of our home. BIG DIFFERENCE!  The sensor on our home updates a lot more frequently than the RSS feed (every 60 seconds vs every 9 minutes) and it's a lot more accurate too.

I display the temperature on a touchscreen in the living room and a tablet on my night stand using HSTouch.
