Requirements:
TiVo® Series2™ or Series3™ DVR with the Home Media Option™
TiVo® DVR must have network connectivity and be on the same home network that HomeSeer is running on
Java Runtime Environment Installed (Provided by the plug-in package installer)
Features:
The opening screen has Locations (devices), Events, and Favorites. Use the configuration screen provided with the plug-in to filter which locations and groups can be used, and which devices and events appear on the Favorites screen. Using the familiar TiVo® remote control buttons, navigate to a location or group, select a device or event, and then control the device or run the event - all from the convenience of your favorite DVR watching chair! The system uses the new HomeSeer Device Control API so there are almost no limits on what devices can be controlled - thermostats, remote controls,devices with buttons, devices using status/value pairs, it does it all!
Limitations:
The TiVo® platform does not support HTML and has limited graphics. Devices containing HTML in their device string will not display anything within anHTML tag.
Upcoming Features:
Favorite devices and favorite events added to or removed from the favorites list using the TiVo® remote control's Thumbs Up™ and Thumbs Down™ buttons.
If you use the HomeSeer Location2 feature for devices, the opening menu screen will include the alternate location option to find your devices and will display the location and alternate location using the labels you specified in HomeSeer.
